Intern Queen to Speak at Penn State

Lauren Berger, the founder and CEO of Internqueen.com will be coming to campus on November 30 in 112 Forest Resources Building to speak to Penn State students on how they land their dream internship in any field.

Berger has completed 15 internships in just four years at the University of Central Florida and since then has traveled to universities across the country to share internship and career advice with high school and college students. She has also written books such as, All Work, No Pay: Finding an Internship, Building Your Resume, Making Connections, and Gaining Job Experience, and Welcome To The Real World.

Brought to you by Target, this event is open to all students of all majors and all minors. The goal is to share tips and tricks on how to get the internship they want. A lot of summer internship applications are out and it’s time to start looking ahead to summer 2017, so this event couldn’t come at a better time!

According to Berger’s website, she is “a champion for young ambitious people fighting their way to the top.” She has also started a Youtube Channel where she offers weekly internship and job advice and much more.
