From Class to Café

FlorioClasstoCafeMakeupIn nice weather, going home after class is starting to sound less and less appealing. Instead, you will probably be tempted to hit up one of the popular downtown bars, like Café 210 West. However, you might be a little hesitant to do so without first freshening up your make up. Don’t worry, you don’t have to make a pit-stop at your place before heading out. We have some quick and easy beauty tips that can get you from class to Café in no time.

One of the main essentials to have in your bag is a brush. After a long day of studying in class, or daydreaming about where you will go once you’re out of class, your hair is probably not as primped as it was in the morning. If brushing your hair doesn’t cut it, then always carry around a ponytail and a couple of bobby pins. A simple ponytail or bun will give you a fresh hair-do.

Mascara is a must! Mascara is probably the easiest and quickest way to brighten up your eyes, which, after a couple of hours in class, will probably be very necessary. A couple of swipes of your favorite mascara, and you will be good to go.

Carrying around a light, rosy blush with a small brush is definitely next on the list. Blush tends to wear off after a couple of hours so whatever you apply in the morning won’t be there by the time you’re headed to Café.

Having a little concealer in your make-up bag is never a bad idea. A couple of dabs and whatever pimple or blemish you may want to hide will be gone. As for the lips, throw in your bag whatever you applied in the morning. Whether it’s a bright red lipstick or a light pink gloss, your lips will definitely need freshening up.

If you want to get a little fancy, then carry around a liquid liner to make your eyes pop out even more. If you want to get a little crazy, then don’t do the traditional black. Use colors like blue and green to really make your eye pop.

If you want a bit more of a dramatic effect for your eyes, then carry around an eye shadow quad. From base color, to highlight, to brush, everything you need is handy in a small, compact kit.

Whatever your beauty needs are before heading out, it’s definitely possible to touch up your hair and make-up without having to make an unwanted stop at your place.
