Since the crisp chill of fall is once again in the air, your alcohol preferences – just like your wardrobe – should change accordingly. You’ll be sure to fall in love with these seasonal cocktails
Mulled Wine
What You’ll Need
- 1 (25 ounce) bottle of sweet red wine
- 1 orange (peeled, sliced, and seeded)
- Orange peel
- 10 whole cloves
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- ¼ cup of brandy
- 1/3 cup of honey
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
What You’ll Do
- Combine all ingredients in a large pot.
- Set over low heat for 25 minutes.
- Stir to dissolve honey.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy!
Apple Fizz
What You’ll Need
- 1 (25 ounce) bottle of champagne
- 1 ounce of apple juice
- Use and apple slice to garnish
What You’ll Do
- Pour the champagne in your glass ¾ of the way.
- Add in the apple juice.
- Garnish your glass with the apple slice.
White Russian
What You’ll Need
- 2 ounces of vodka
- 1 ounce of coffee liqueur
- 1 ounce heavy cream
What You’ll Do
- Pour vodka and coffee liqueur into a glass over ice.
- Stir in the heavy cream.
Spiked Cider
What You’ll Need
- 4 cups of apple cider
- 1 tablespoon of orange juice
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 star anise
- 1 ounces bourbon
- Orange slice (seeded) for garnish
What You’ll Do
- Pour cider, orange juice, one cinnamon stick, star anise and cloves into a pot over high heat.
- When it starts to boil, lower the heat to a simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Strain the drink into a pitcher.
- Pour into glass, add in the bourbon and garnish with the orange slice.
