Bridal Barbie: The Many Wedding Gowns of Paris Hilton

In case you missed it, the world’s most eligible bachelorette finally got hitched — that’s right, Paris Hilton tied the knot with husband Carter Reum on November 11, 2021. In true Paris fashion, the business and style mogul hosted a weekend-long celebration in Bel Air with celebrity guests such as Kim Kardashian and Nicole Richie.

The former “Simple Life” star’s big day was truly anything but, from her venue right down to her bridal couture. The original It Girl said “I do” in not one, not two, but seven dresses throughout her wedding receptions and celebrations.

Ceremony Dress — Oscar de la Renta

This gown was the most photographed. This only makes sense, given that this was Hilton’s ceremony dress and one she wore for most of the reception immediately following her ceremony. The high-neck, custom-made de la Renta dress was a shock to most people, but the elegant gown is actually rumored to pay homage to both her mother, Kathy Hilton, and sister, Nicky Hilton’s wedding gowns.

First Dance Dress — Galia Lahav

Paris made a quick change from her classic Oscar de la Renta into this Galia Lahav number for her first dance with husband Carter Reum. It’s been said that Paris wanted the gown to be a nod to Cinderella — romantic and whimsical for such a special moment with her groom. The sparkly tulle skirt, bustier and off-shoulder certainly achieved this goal.

Dinner Dress – Pamella Roland

Another change was made for dinner, this time into a bejeweled Pamella Roland gown. With the ornate beading, plunging neckline and sparkly cape, this dress felt like it was missing from a party at the Gatsby mansion. The criss-cross beading made this gown sparkle when photographed both standing and sitting, which is what the bride was hoping for.

Reception Dress — Oscar de la Renta

A final change was made for the rest of the Hilton-Reum reception, which featured yet another custom Oscar de la Renta gown. Hilton wanted a look that reflected her status as the “quintessential party girl”, and this de la Renta look did the trick with a short, fluffy skirt complete with a feather headpiece. The floral appliques matched those of her ceremony dress, perfectly tying her whole day together at the end of the night.

Carnival Dress — Alice + Olivia

What could be more on-brand for the heiress-turned-DJ than a rave-esque carnival as part of her weekend of wedding celebrations? Hilton and Reum hosted a carnival at Santa Monica Pier for her wedding guests, where she wore this pink, bedazzled, high-low Alice + Olivia dress. Complete with heart-shaped sunglasses, fishnets, platform booties and a matching pink veil.

Final Night Gown — Marchesa

The final night of festivities took place at the Hilton estate (Hilton’s grandfather’s home), which called for yet another regal gown. Hilton wore a custom Marchesa dress for this special occasion, and for a photoshoot featured on her Instagram.

Party Dress – Oscar de la Renta

Hilton closed out her weekend of wedding festivities in her true fashion — a sparkly party gown. In yet another Oscar de la Renta, Hilton dazzled her guests. The intricate star pattern, sheer tulle, silver color, mock-neck, plunging neckline gown was completely unconventional — and completely Hilton.
